Everest Region
The Everest region most famously known for being home to the highest mountains in Nepal Mount Everest is perhaps the most popular region travelers are eager to explore. However, the monumental peak standing at 8848m is not the only attraction here, the area includes Sagarmatha National Park which encompasses the unique ecosystem available for exploration. Additionally, you can trek to places such Lukla, Tengboche, Lobuche and holy Gokyo lake a turquoise colored gem located amidst the towering mountains. Ideal for venturing into younger mountains as well, the region’s major tourist attractions are the higher peaks such Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Makalu and more.
